The Las Vegas Raiders may not wind up being very good in 2026, but there is still quite a bit of excitement surrounding this team entering the new season. With the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Fernando Mendoza, in tow, there’s reason to believe that the future is bright for the Raiders, even if he won’t be starting under center right away for them.

Las Vegas has worked hard on ensuring that, when Mendoza does take the field, he will have several weapons to work with on offense. The flashiest of the bunch is clearly star tight end Brock Bowers, who has already established himself as one of the best players at his position in the league in just two years. Despite that, one anonymous general manager believes that Bowers may only be scratching the surface of his potential.

Anonymous NFL GM Believes Brock Bowers Will ‘Dominate’ in 2026

Las Vegas selected Bowers with the No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and he quickly made the front office look shrewd for its decision to bring him to town. Despite playing in a woeful offense as a rookie, Bowers still caught 112 passes for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns, which helped him earn Pro Bowl and All-Pro First Team honors.

The 2025 campaign wasn’t as successful for Bowers, as he missed five games due to injuries. Still, when he was on the field, he remained wildly productive (64 REC, 680 YDS, 7 TD), which helped him earn another Pro Bowl selection. If he can stay healthy, Bowers figures to remain one of the most dominant offensive playmakers in the league for years to come.

With such limited depth at the wide receiver position, that makes Bowers the focal point of Las Vegas’ passing attack. And while he isn’t spectacular, Bowers should benefit from playing alongside quarterback Kirk Cousins in the Raiders’ new-look offense in 2026. Put it all together, and one anonymous NFL general manager recently told Jason La Canfora of casino.org that he expects Bowers to “dominate” when he returns to action.

“Bowers is going to dominate in this offense,” the general manager told La Canfora when discussing the Raiders’ upcoming campaign.

Raiders Have High Hopes for Brock Bowers Moving Forward

It’s tough to fault Bowers too much for his quieter-than-expected 2025 campaign. He was battling injuries for much of the year, and even when he was on the field, the Raiders’ offense was such a mess that there often wasn’t much that he could do to keep them afloat. With a more secure infrastructure in place, there’s reason to believe that Bowers and this group can bounce back in 2026.

While Ashton Jeanty is a star in the making at running back, there aren’t too many other guys on this offense who will strike fear into opposing defenses. With that in mind, Bowers needs to put together a big season, or else all the excitement surrounding this team could dissipate into thin air in the blink of an eye.
