New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye was a top NFL MVP candidate, but his wife Ann Maye has developed her own following as well. Thanks in part to Ann’s viral social media videos, Drake may not even be the biggest star in his own family.
Drake was asked about his wife being dubbed with the nickname “Queen of the North” by Patriots fans.
“It’s been awesome to follow kind of her journey,” Drake told reporters on January 29, 2026. “I know I was looking forward to her getting up here, and obviously after we got married, she came up here and had never lived up North and hadn’t seen this much snow on the ground.
“So, it’s been an adjustment for her, but she’s loved it. She loves the people up here. She loves living up here. She loves the support, and she’s got her own little journey that’s been awesome, and she’s just being herself. And that’s the best thing about her, and that’s what I love her for.”

Ann has been by his side the entire time, but now Mrs. Maye is finding her own stardom. The unofficial first lady of the Patriots went viral for her popular “Bakemas” videos on TikTok. Ann enjoys helping fans in the kitchen but having her own fan base is something new.
“I’m not used to it,” Ann remarked during a January 11, 2026, interview with Barstool’s Dave Portnoy. “It kind of blew up really fast and I’m used to Drake having it, you know, everywhere we go.
“People were asking him for pictures and things and I’m the one taking the photo. And now that people want me (to take photos). Yeah, it’s so weird,” Ann continued.
“It’s crazy, but it’s really cool. Everyone’s been like super nice and it’s kind of fun to experience all of it.”
