Jordon Hudson never misses an opportunity to poke fun at her haters.

The 24-year-old girlfriend of former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick posted several photos and videos from Virginia Beach, in which her cheerleading squad, Code Black, won a national championship.

And specifically, in the first photo, Hudson posted a photo of her kneeling on the ground surrounded by confetti, some of which was fake cash.

“📣📣📣📣📣 #GOLDDIGGER GOT #PAID 🤑🤑🤑🤭🤭 #IDigGoldMedals #GRANDioseCHAMPS #TroubleCubStrikesAgain,” she captioned the post.

Jordon Hudson Tried To Trademark The Term ‘Gold Digger’

The phrase “gold digger” has become one that Hudson has leaned into since her relationship with Belichick, who is 73 years old, became public. Specifically, in August 2025, PEOPLE reported that Hudson filed a trademark application for the term “gold digger,” so it could be used for jewelry or key chains.

Along with this term, TCE Rights Management LLC, the company owned by Belichick and managed by Hudson, also filed trademarks for “Chapel Bill,” “Belestrator,” “Trail of Salty Tears,” “No Days Off,” “The Belichick Way,” as well as some other phrases. And they looked to take a page out of Taylor Swift’s book, adding “(Bill’s Version)” to each.

Some of Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson’s Trademark Applications Were Denied

According to ESPN, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office denied Hudson’s applications to trademark four of Belichick’s catchphrases, which were “Do Your Job (Bill’s Version),” “Ignore the Noise (Bill’s Version),” “The Belestrator (Bill’s Version)” and “No Days Off (Bill’s Version).”

And as a reason for rejecting the requests, they said it’s because “it is likely consumers would be confused, mistaken or deceived as to the commercial source of the goods and/or services of the parties.”

The Patriots trademarked “The Belestrator” in 2009, “Do Your Job” in 2013, followed by “No Days Off” and “Ignore the Noise” in 2017.

“It was very obvious that the USPTO would refuse these applications from the start,” trademark attorney Josh Gerben told ESPN. “They’re too similar. Like, I can’t say I’m going to make ‘Nike shoes (Josh’s version).’ Once somebody has a trademark registered on a name or a phrase, you’re not able to just simply add something to it and get it registered.”

It’s no surprise that Belichick would want these phrases to be his, considering the way things ended between him and the Patriots. The two sides parted ways after 24 seasons and six Super Bowl championships, initially playing it off as an amicable split. But things quickly took a turn as Kraft and Belichick began taking shots at one another publicly.

One specific example of this was when Kraft appeared on the podcast “Dudes on Dudes” last year, stating that they took a “big risk” in hiring Belichick when they did.

The coach then fired back, speaking with ESPN reporter Don Van Natta Jr., where Belichick clarified that it was actually him who took the risk.

“As I told Robert multiple times through the years, I took a big risk by taking the New England Patriots head coaching job,” Belichick told Van Natta Jr. “I already had an opportunity to be the head coach of the New York Jets, but the ownership situation was unstable.”

“I had been warned by multiple previous Patriots’ coaches, as well as other members of other NFL organizations and the media, that the New England job was going to come with many internal obstacles,” he added. “I made it clear that we would have to change the way the team was managed to regain the previously attained success.”
