New England Patriots rookie Quintayvious Hutchins, who spent his college career at Boston College, “appears to be charged” with domestic assault and battery on a family/household member, WBZ reports.

According to court documents obtained by the outlet, Hutchins “pleaded not guilty to all charges and was released on ‘personal recognizance.'”

CBS News further reports that the alleged incident occurred on Tuesday, with Hutchins arriving in Newton District Court for his arraignment on Wednesday morning. Michael DiStefano is representing him.

The Patriots released a statement to HEAVY:

“We are aware of the report involving Quintayvious Hutchins. We take these matters very seriously and are in the process of gathering additional information. We will not have further comment at this time.”

The Patriots selected Hutchins in the seventh round, with the 247th overall selection, of the 2026 NFL Draft. Last season with the Boston College Eagles, he finished with 35 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and an interception across 10 games.

He signed his rookie deal with New England over the weekend. Hutchins left Saturday’s rookie minicamp session early after suffering an undisclosed injury.

This story will continue to be updated.
