Ashylnn’s Dad Played in the NFL and Is an Offensive Coordinator
Nussmeier was born on Aug. 26, 2004, to parents Doug Nussmeier and Christi Hebert. She has an older brother, Garrett, and a younger brother, Colton. Doug Nussmeier was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 1994 as a quarterback.
Before dating Campbell, Ashlynn already had a connection to the NFL through her father, who now serves as the offensive coordinator for the Saints (go figure). There seems to be a lot of Louisiana ties in the Nussmeier family. Doug has a Super Bowl ring as well, serving as the QB’s coach of the Philadelphia Eagles last season.
Ashlynn’s Brother, Garrett, Played With Will Campbell
If you think the last name Nussmeier sounds familiar, it’s probably because you’ve heard of LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier, who is Ashlynn’s brother. Garrett played three seasons with LSU with Campbell.
Will Campbell served as the blind side protector of his girlfriend’s brother. Will Campbell and Garrett Nussmeier have had a clear close relationship over the past three seasons, as Garrett was super pumped up when the Patriots drafted Campbell in the first-round of the NFL Draft.

Garrett Suggested Ashlynn Start Dating Will Campbell
If you can’t tell already, there is a clear, strong family connection between the Campbell’s and Nussmeiers. Well, to make it even stronger, Garrett suggests that Ashlynn start dating Will Campbell. While they haven’t released official details of how/when they started seeing each other, Ashlynn did release a TikTok video where she said:
“In college your brother will tell you that he thinks you and his teammate should talk.”
“it’s very important that you actually listen to his judgement and hang out”
Now, Ashlynn is alongside Will for the biggest game of his career.
