Cooper DeJean is getting lots of attention these days.
There has been some speculation surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles‘ cornerback and WWE legend Nikki Garcia. However, it seems one Bravo star also decided to shoot her shot.
“Southern Charm” star Salley Carson shared a sneak peek of her appearance on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast with US Weekly, where she spoke about how she tried to get DeJean’s attention.
“I just slid into Cooper DeJean’s [DMs],” Carson confessed, adding that it began when the two liked each other’s pictures on social media. “I have his number. I think he’s so cute. He’s going to kill me.”
However, when pressed a little bit more, Carson said that she messaged him after seeing a photo of DeJean and Garcia’s rumored romance.
“Then I went to his page [and thought], ‘Oh, he’s super cute,’” she explained. “I was like, ‘Maybe he’s into older women if he’s dating her.’ Then I liked his photo and he liked three of mine. Then I DM’d him. Then he DM’d me back.”
So, if DeJean is not dating Garcia, Carson had a clear message.
“I would love to meet him if he’s not dating her,” she said. “There’s all these articles that they are dating but he in all of his interviews is [saying] no.”
However, she jokingly added that if they are dating, she knows she stands no chance against Garica.
“Now I’m scared because that girl is going to beat my ass if they are dating,” Carson said. “OK, she can throw me around,
When Did The Dating Rumors Between Cooper DeJean and Nikki Garcia Start?
Rumors started flying after Garcia posted a video on Instagram of her trip to Philadelphia in December, which included visits to a Flyers game and an Eagles game. However, while at the Eagles game, Garcia posted a clip of her in the locker room, sitting in front of DeJean’s locker. She also shared a photo of her and DeJean posing together while out with a group of people after the game.
“So blessed for the people around me, new friends and old, who make life so special and fun,” Nikki captioned the post.

During a Raw event in Philadelphia on February 2, Garcia appeared to confirm her relationship with DeJean. Specifically, it occurred after she took the stage with her sister, Brie Garcia when it sounded like the group was booing them. However, Brie cleared things up.
“I actually think they’re saying Coop,” Brie said.
“Can you blame a girl for having good taste? I mean, Pro Bowl, baby,” Nikki replied.
So, what did DeJean think of this shoutout?
“It was crazy to kind of see that,” he told PEOPLE a few days later. “I don’t know. i didn’t really expect that. Obviously it was in Philly, so…”
