Bleacher Report's Zach Bachar argued the Seattle Seahawks should sign Joe Mixon despite just drafting Notre Dame's Jadarian Price.

The Seattle Seahawks upgraded running back with Notre Dame’s Jadarian Price in the final first-round selection of the 2026 NFL Draft. Seahawks general manager John Schneider made the selection much to the dismay of old-school evaluators who didn’t see the value of the Notre Dame’s No. 2 running back as a first-round pick.

Yet, some analysts still see the Seahawks in need of addressing the offensive backfield again this offseason.

Following the 2026 NFL Draft, Bleacher Report’s Zach Bachar named the Seahawks a potential landing spot for Joe Mixon.

“The Seahawks lost Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III in free agency, but selected Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price with the No. 32 overall pick in the draft,” wrote Bachar.

“Price will likely split carries with Zach Charbonnet once he returns from a torn ACL that he suffered in the divisional round of the playoffs, but Seattle’s depth behind those two players is thin.

“Mixon would bring plenty of playoff experience to the defending Super Bowl champions as a reserve option, with nine career postseason starts under his belt.”
