While the good news for the Toronto Maple Leafs is that they have one of the most dedicated and passionate fan bases in all of sports in both Canada and the United States as well as across the globe, the bad news for those fans is that only a very small percentage can afford to routinely spend money to see them play on home ice at Scotiabank Arena in downtown Toronto.
Home Maple Leafs games in Toronto are already some of the priciest tickets around, and many fans find it hard to justify paying those prices for a club that hasn’t won the Stanley Cup since 1967, or appeared in the Conference Final since 2002.
And naturally, when Maple Leafs fans took a look at what they’ll have to pay to see their club in Toronto for the upcoming season, they weren’t happy.
Toronto Maple Leafs Fans Aren’t Happy After Ticket Prices Went Up Yet Again

According to data compiled by Leafs Latest on X, prices for Maple Leafs home games this season are once again more expensive than the previous season.
“The average cost to get into a game is roughly between $150 and $270, with standing-room tickets costing around $160 before tax, upper bowl around $185 before tax, and lower bowl around $300-$350 before tax.”
And naturally, this didn’t sit well with fans.
One fan exclaimed, “Charging $300 for nosebleed seats when you were one of the worst teams in the league and haven’t won a Stanley Cup in 60 years. Welcome to Toronto guys.”
This fan lamented, “So……… they had a season to forget last season and still the seats are $200 or higher depending on the level and the section. Okay, Leafs 😒😒”
“I get there’s McKenna hype but you absolutely cannot price tickets like this after how last season went fam,” exclaimed another fan.
This fan wrote, “$200 for standing? You absolutely must not want real fans at games anymore.”
Keeping in that vein, this fan said, “Then you wonder why Scotiabank Arena’s a ghost town during Leaf games. Pricing out the real fans once again.”
Finally, this fan said, “Your prices are atrocious. Let’s hope Toronto gets awarded a 2nd franchise so families can attend games with their kids. So sick of this team catering to Bay Street.”
Maple Leafs Ticket Prices Are Among The Highest In The NHL
A study compiled by Hockey Database in January 2025 found that the Maple Leafs have the highest average home-game ticket prices in the NHL, considerably more than the second-highest prices charged by the New York Rangers.
