Indiana Fever Make Announcement Featuring Caitlin Clark Before Aces Game

The Indiana Fever are gearing up for a marquee matchup against the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday night.

However, ahead of the game, the Fever announced major news involving not only superstar guard Caitlin Clark, but also teammate Aliyah Boston and head coach Stephanie White.

Fever Announce Clark News

Indiana announced on social media that Clark, Boston and White were all selected to represent USA Basketball at the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, which will be held in Germany from Sept. 4-13.

The Fever highlighted a historic milestone for both Clark and Boston, who will represent USA Basketball in the FIBA Women’s World Cup for the first time.

“This marks the first FIBA Women’s World Cup roster either player has been a part of,” the Fever wrote in a statement. “Additionally, Boston and Clark are just the second and third, respectively, Indiana Fever players to represent the United States in the FIBA Women’s World Cup, joining Tamika Catchings, who competed for the Red, White and Blue in the 2002, 2006 and 2010 tournaments.”

The roster features WNBA stars Paige Bueckers, Napheesa Collier, Breanna Stewart, A’ja Wilson, Angel Reese and several others.

Clark’s 2026 Season

Clark is in the middle of her best stretch of the season over the past two weeks as the Fever have won five of their last six games.

She earned WNBA Player of the Week honors after averaging more than 25 points per game during that span.

On the season, despite battling a lingering back issue, Clark is averaging a career-high 21.5 points to go along with 8.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game.
