Michael Obermuller is a sports journalist who covers the NFL for Heavy.com, where he began working in May of 2021. He currently reports on the Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants, Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals for Heavy on Sports.

Michael also spent two-plus seasons reporting on the New York Jets for Heavy on a daily basis and has been with Heavy on Chiefs since October of 2021. He is an NYC area native and Quinnipiac graduate that previously covered NFL, MLB and betting content for FanDuel's The Duel, as well as fantasy football for King Fantasy Sports and NFL and MLB news for Pro Football Mania.

Michael Obermuller holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Studies from Quinnipiac University, where he graduated in 2015. He also completed an English Minor (writing track) during his time at Quinnipiac, and has passed through the International Baccalaureate (IB) testing programs for English and History.
