Parker Abate is a seasoned sports journalist, editor and reporter with nearly a decade of experience in digital media. He has written more than 2,000 articles throughout his career, with extensive experience covering the Pittsburgh Steelers and NFL, as well as golf and baseball.
Abate has covered major sporting events in person, including the 2026 NFL Draft, and has experience conducting interviews and covering press conferences with prominent athletes. His reporting experience includes a one-on-one interview with former Steelers tight end Heath Miller, as well as press conferences featuring Michael Pittman Jr. and Jordyn Tyson.

Abate graduated from Misericordia University in 2019 with a degree in Mass Communications and Design and a specialization in Sports Communication. His education provided a foundation in journalism, reporting, writing, interviewing and digital media that has carried into his professional career covering the NFL and other major sports.
