Rafael Devers: Breaking News

Devers went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Wednesday's 8-3 loss to the Reds. Devers hit a leadoff single in the seventh inning before coming around to score and added another base hit in the eighth. The veteran infielder has recorded five multi-hit performances so far this season, including two over the last six games. He's now slashing .229/.280/.329 with seven runs scored, six RBI and two long balls across 75 plate appearances in 2026.

Devers went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBI in Wednesday's win over the Phillies. It was a breakout performance by Devers, who entered the day with just two RBI on the campaign. The homer was his second of the year so far, and the All-Star slugger tied a season high in total bases. Devers is working his way through a slow start, which has seen him bat just .220 with three extra-base hits and four walks over 50 at-bats.

Devers started at first base and went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Mets. Devers played the field for the first time this season after previously serving as the designated hitter due to left hamstring tightness. The veteran infielder hit a go-ahead RBI single in the sixth inning, driving in San Francisco's final run of the game. He recorded just his second RBI of the season Sunday and is now slashing .211/.286/.316 with a home run and an additional run scored across 42 plate appearances in 10 games.
