Rayna Culver, a married teacher from Trenton, New Jersey, is accused of adopting a teenage boy so she could have sex with him “almost every day.”

The bizarre allegations emerged in court documents filed against Culver, 43. According to The Trentonian, Culver is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy.

Her lawyer says the accusations are false, The Trentonian reported. Attorney Robin Lord told The Trentonian: “The state’s theory of the case is a completely fabricated recitation made up by a troubled, young man.”

Although Culver was arrested in May, the new details were contained in a complaint obtained by reporter David Foster, of the Trentonian, which gained the scoop through open records laws.

The teenage boy was kicked out of his home by relatives, when Culver, who was a middle school teacher, stepped in to care for him, The Trentonian reported.

The boy moved into Culver’s home, and she became his legal guardian, and the youth even called her “mom” in texts, the newspaper reported.

A press release from the prosecutor’s office says that Culver is 43-years-old and was first taken into custody in the case in May 2017.

The press release issued by the office of prosecutor Scott Coffina says that Culver was charged with having sexual relations with an underage male on “multiple occasions.” She is accused of sexual assault, second degree, and endangering the welfare of a child, second degree.

According to the press release, Culver was taken into custody at her home and ordered not to have any contact with the accuser or anyone else under the age of 18. However, the sordid details surrounding the allegations did not emerge until July 2017, when the local newspaper obtained a copy of the criminal complaint.

When she met the boy, Culver worked as a “school climate and culture leader at Rivera Middle School” starting in 2013, reported the Central Record. The complaint alleges that the pair developed a rapport, and the boy now believes that the “purpose of her taking him in was to eventually make sex a part of their relationship.”

Culver is accused of beginning sexual relations with the boy in June 2016, when she is accused of undressing him and touching him inappropriately, according to the Trentonian.

“Culver performed oral sex on the boy, then proceeded to have sex with him,” The Trentonian reports that court documents allege.

The teen alleged that they had sex almost every day for several months, the newspaper reported. However, Culver’s attorney says that none of it happened.

The complaint alleges that the boy wanted to stop the contact, but Culver didn’t want to do so.

“After that first incident, they would engage in sex often, and it was to the point where he felt that if he told her to stop she would get mad and kick him out of the house,” the complaint alleged. The accuser allegedly “told Culver via text message that he didn’t want to have sex anymore, and she made it clear that she did not want it to stop.”

The complaint further alleges that the boy turned over his phone to authorities, and it alleges: “Throughout the course of the conversations, Culver and (the victim) get into in-depth conversations regarding sex, having sex and sexual acts.”
