With the win, the Shockers play No. 2 Kansas in the Round of 32 on Sunday. After Bill Self said he had no interest in scheduling in-state brethren Wichita State, the two Kansas teams will finally meet for the first time since 1992.

The Hoosiers & Shockers Are Involved in a Barn Burner

The Hoosiers love to play up-and-down, love to shoot (and hit) three-pointers, but, most importantly, they just love playing fast for head coach Tom Crean. Through one half, they’ve played at a quick enough pace to outscore the Shockers.

The Shockers love to play a more half-court style game, and keeping the game to the perimeter, forcing teams into bad shots. Fred VanVleet leads the shockers with 19 points, the rest of the team has 17.

Indiana’s 3-point Shooting Kept Them in the Game

Indiana trailed 70-65 with just under 5:00 remaining.
