WWE Monday Night RAW Preview, Results & Highlights for July 6th, 2015

This week’s Monday Night RAW emanated from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. With 13 days to go until Battleground live on the WWE Network on Sunday, July 19th from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, the Windy City provided a notoriously vocal backdrop.

Last week on Monday Night RAW, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins gave out goodies to Kane and J&J Security for their roles in helping leave Brock Lesnar in the middle of the ring two weeks ago on RAW. The night ended with Dean Ambrose defeated and Roman Reigns beaten in the middle of the ring and then attacked by Bray Wyatt.

Ambrose, Reigns and Lesnar will all want retribution. With less than two weeks to, they will be looking for it.

Here is what happened on RAW throughout the night.

Brock Lesnar Is in the Allstate Arena

And he wants to personally invite WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to Suplex City 13 days before Battleground. Oh, and Kane isn’t in the building and J&J are joyriding in their Cadillac somewhere.

#RAWChicago is trending on Twitter.

Big Show and Ryback Fight Each Other & Then Turned Their Attention to Miz

Big Show and Ryback followed the opening segment and The Miz was by ringside for commentary, which didn’t bode well for him. Miz kept interrupting the match by pandering to the crowd and yelling stupid things.

Following Miz found himself involved and Show and Ryback both took care of the D-lister.

Paige’s Crusade Is Falling On Deaf Ears

After nobody in the locker room stepped up again, Paige was forced to take on Brie Bella with Alicia Fox and Divas Champion Nikki Bella at ringside.

After distracting Paige, Brie hit Paige with a face-buster for the victory. After the match, Fox scissor-kicked Paige in the back of the head and Nikki hit the Rack Attack. Nobody in the locker room wants to help Paige.

A Special Guest Crashed the Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns Party

Randy Orton crashed the party when he returned to attack Sheamus and deliver an RKO to Sheamus.

The two will most likely face each other in 13 days at Battleground.

Rusev & Summer Raw Had an Announcement…

Rusev and Summer Rae were out talking to the Chicago crowd until Dolph Ziggler and Lana came down to the ring to interrupt.

Rusev tried to take Ziggler’s trachea out with his crutch. Ziggler was stretchered out with Lana looking concerned as they walked out.

Seth Rollins Called Out the Beast Incarnate

Earlier in the night Triple H convinced Seth Rollins that he had to make a statement. Rollins decided that he would call out Lesnar.

BIG MISTAKE. Lesnar responded to the challenge, came out and destroyed J&J’s $55,000 Cadillac. Then he destroyed J&J by giving Jamie Noble a Kimura and German-suplexing Joey Mercury. Lesnar chased Rollins out of the Allstate Arena and held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship over his head.

John Cena & Cesaro Main Evented RAW for the United States Championship

Kevin Owens came out to challenge Cena for the U.S. Championship. Cesaro followed and threatened Owens and forced him to leave the ring.

Cena and Cesaro had yet another RAW Match of the Year candidate. Cena picked up a win after almost a half-hour. Owens came down to the ring to try and attack Cena after the match was over, but Cena strategically avoided it and hit an AA on Owens. RAW closed with Cena in the ring exhausted and Owens looking annoyed from the entrance way.
