Hungary looks for their first major tournament berth in 30 years, while Norway has not made a major tournament since the 2000 European Championship.

In Group F, Hungary was 4-4-2 to earn 16 points and finish third behind North Ireland and Romania. In Group H, Norway was 6-1-3 to earn 19 points and finish third behind Italy and Croatia.
