On November 15, 2015, Norway will travel to Groupama Arena in Budapest, Hungary to face Hungary. In the first leg of the two legged tie, Hungary took away Norway’s home field advantage with a 1-0 win on November 12, 2015. Laszlo Kleinheisler scored for Hungary in his first senior match, striking for the visitors in the 26th minute, while the Hungarians hung on for the vital win. Hungary looks for their first major tournament berth in 30 years, while Norway has not made a major tournament since the 2000 European Championship.
In Group F, Hungary was 4-4-2 to earn 16 points and finish third behind North Ireland and Romania. In Group H, Norway was 6-1-3 to earn 19 points and finish third behind Italy and Croatia.
