Here’s what you need to know about Satorova:
1. Ester & Tomas Got Married in 2015 After Dating for 5 Years
Tomas had a decade-long relationship with Lucie Safarova, who’s also a Czech professional tennis player.
According to Tennis World USA, Berdych and Safarova met when she was 24-years old, first meeting each other in 2002 in Prostejov when he was just 17. The two dated for 10 years but ended up breaking it off in 2011.
In an interview shortly after the breakup, Berdych said the sport of tennis constantly in his life made things stressful.
When I was with Safarova I thought that staying together a professional tennis player was the best thing for me, but there was too much tennis.
Playing every day, manage wins and losses, it is not already easy for you, let alone if you’re two to have the same problems.
Shortly after Berdych and Safarova broke up, Ester and Tomas started dating; she was just 19-years old.
After dating for five years, the pair finally got engaged in 2014 and said “I do” in 2015 in Monaco. According to Hello Magazine, the wedding was very small and just in front of “20 of their closest friends.”
The wedding ceremony was held at the town hall in Tomas’ home town, Monte Carlo, and the wedding reception was held at Le Méridien Beach Plaza, also in Monte Carlo.
On her special day, Ester wore a dress designed by Zuhair Murad, a Lebanese designer who has made clothing for celebrities on the red carpet.
2. Ester Started Modeling as a Teenager
Ester was born in 1992 in the Czech Republic an started modeling when she was just a teenager. She got her big break when she caught the eye of scouts, standing 5-foot-9 with light brown hair and blue eyes.

4. She’s Been Spotted & Many of Her Husband’s Tennis Matches
The couple don’t have any children yet, which opens up Ester’s time a bit more to travel on the road to watch her husband play tennis. She’s been in the stands at the 2017 Wimbledon tournament and will undoubtedly be there the rest of the way. It’s certainly not uncommon to see her standing up and cheering on her husband as he tries to win a match.
During the 2014 Wimbledon tournament, the Daily Mail wrote about the appearance at the tournament supporting her husband.
“Ester looked effortlessly chic in a green quilted leather jacket, pink T-Shirt and black skinny jeans as sshe watched her beau achieve victory,” Hanna Flint wrote in the article for the Daily Mail.
5. Berdych Has Said it’s ‘Different’ Having a Relationship with Satorova
After dating Safarova for so long, many were surprised that Berdych got into a relationship so fast. But the love the couple have for each other had shown, and it’s helped that Ester isn’t a tennis player, Tomas said in an interview.
One of the problems that started to cause his relationship with Safarova to strain when they dated was the fact it was everything tennis all the time. He said in the interview that he’s noticed a huge difference in his attitude and the bond he shares with Ester.
“Actually, yes, I see big difference,” he said. “I mean, in the past I was saying that it’s probably the best thing just that we are both from the same thing. I didn’t have any other experience.”
Berdych added that the relationship he has with Ester is special because it allows him to appreciate the smaller things more often.
“Now I can say that this one is way better because, you know, I think it was too much tennis,” he said. “If you do it like myself, and I’m dealing with everyday work that you have to play, practice, organize this stuff, then winning, losing, handle this situation, it’s quite tough to have it from one side. If you have to deal with the same thing from the other side, it was quite too much.
“So I’m really enjoying that, that it’s different, that I met somebody with a different life. It’s a nice experience.”
