Mayweather vs. McGregor Card: Complete Schedule of Fights

Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor Card, Mayweather McGregor Undercard, Schedule of Fights, Start Time, Cleverly vs. Jack, Gervonta Davis vs. Francisco Fonseca

Getty Gervonta Davis, the protege of Floyd Mayweather, is one of several headliners on the Mayweather-McGregor card.

As it turns out, Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor isn’t the only fight next Saturday.

May-Mac is obviously the headliner due to the massive appeal of each fighter and the general quirkiness of the matchup, but in terms of the best overall fight or matchup, most hardcore boxing fans would put it well down the list for Saturday.

Instead, pay close attention to the pair of title fights on the main card.

In the first, Gervonta Davis, Mayweather’s protégé and rising undefeated pound-for-pound superstar, will defend his IBF World Super Featherweight title against Francisco Fonseca. In the other, the WBA World Light Heavyweight belt will be on the line when Wales native Nathan Cleverly and Badou “The Ripper” Jack stand toe-to-toe in a potential thriller.

“The chief support, you’ve got the real, real fight between myself and Jack,” said Cleverly. “Two genuine, world-class operators putting it on the line. This could be the real fight of the night and I’m looking to capitalise on that.”

Ultimately, Mayweather and McGregor are why this could be the most lucrative PPV in sports history. But the rest of the card is why all fans should be tuning in early in the night.
