Braves Champion Is Still An MLB Free Agent
With the season underway, it’s worth noting that former Braves pitcher Luke Jackson still remains a free agent.
He is available to sign with any team in the MLB.
The 34-year-old is coming off a season where he went 2-5 with a 4.06 ERA in 52 games for the Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers.

Jackson’s MLB Career
Jackson was picked in the first round of the 2010 MLB Draft.
He spent the first two seasons of his career playing for the Rangers.
Following the Rangers, Jackson had the longest single run of his career (five seasons) with the Braves.
During the 2021 season, Jackson went 2-2 with a 1.98 ERA in 71 games for Atlanta.
He also helped the franchise win the World Series Championship that year.
Over 390 games, Jackson has played for the Rangers, Braves, Mariners, Giants and Tigers (ten seasons).
He has gone 24-16 with a 4.22 ERA.
Jackson could still be a good addition to many bullpens around the MLB.
