On Saturday, the Atlanta Braves will continue their series with the Boston Red Sox (at Truist Park) in Georgia.
The Braves are coming off a 3-2 victory on Friday.

Ahead of Saturday’s game, the Braves released Tayler Scott from his Minor League deal (via MLB.com).
He had been with the Gwinnett Stripers.
The 33-year-old pitched in 14 Triple-A games this season, going 1-0 with a 9.20 ERA.
Scott’s MLB Career

Scott was picked in the fifth round of the 2011 MLB Draft.
He spent his rookie year with the Seattle Mariners and Baltimore Orioles.
After two years in Japan, Scott had stints with the San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, Oakland Athletics, Houston Astros and Arizona Diamondbacks.
In 2024, he went 7-3 with a 2.23 ERA in 62 games for the Astros.

Over 125 career games, Scott has gone 8-6 with a 5.51 ERA.
It will be interesting to see if another team takes a chance on him before the end of the 2026 season.
There is no question that Scott could be a good (low-risk) addition for pitching depth.

After missing the 2025 MLB playoffs, the Braves are the best team in all of baseball to start the season.
They are the first-place team in the National League East with a 31-14 record in 45 games.
Over their last ten games, the Braves have gone 6-4 (and they are 15-7 in 22 games at home).
After two more games with the Red Sox, they are headed to Florida for a series with the Miami Marlins that starts on Monday.
