With the season well underway, it’s worth noting that a former Braves star is playing in the Minor Leagues.
Orlando Arcia is currently a member of the St. Paul Saints (the Triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins).
He is batting .256 with three home runs, 13 RBI’s, ten runs and two stolen bases in 24 games.

Arcia spent the first five and a half seasons of his career playing for the Milwaukee Brewers.
In 2017, he had a career-high 140 hits.
During the middle of the 2021 season, Arcia was sent to the Braves.
The Braves wrote (via X) on April 6, 2021: “The Atlanta #Braves today acquired INF Orlando Arcia from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for RHP Chad Sobotka and RHP Patrick Weigel.”

With the Braves, Arcia became an All-Star (in 2023), and he helped the franchise win the World Series Championship (in 2021).
After the Braves, he finished last season with the Colorado Rockies.
Over 1,013 career games, the 31-year-old is batting .239 with 90 home runs, 347 RBI’s, 345 runs and 43 stolen bases.
Based on Arcia’s career (and age), it will be intriguing to see if the Twins (or another team) takes a chance on him this season.
