The New York Mets are set to begin a new series in MLB against the Chicago White Sox on Friday.
The weekend series is taking place on the south side of Chicago, at Rate Field.
Ahead of the series opener, which will feature a pitching matchup between Sean Manaea and Sean Burke, the Mets revealed their lineup. It features a notable Bo Bichette change.

Instead of his usual role as shortstop, Bo Bichette will DH for the Mets on Friday evening.

There are not many overall changes for the Mets in this contest.
Luis Robert Jr. is slotted in the lineup instead of Francisco Alvarez, but aside from that, this Mets lineup looks nearly identical to Wednesday’s game.

Looking at Bo Bichette This Season
While the Mets have had a bit of a disappointing season thus far, Bo Bichette has progressively gotten better since his horrid slump to start the season.
Across 503 at-bats, Bichette is batting .266 with 12 home runs, 62 runs scored, 64 RBI, and an OPS+ of 96.
He’s also added 104 hits and 21 doubles.
Bichette, unlike star players like Juan Soto and Francisco Lindor, has pretty much been an everyday player for the Mets this season.
