New York Yankees Star Aaron Judge Can Make MLB History In Orioles Series

On Monday evening, the New York Yankees will open up a series with the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards.

The Yankees are coming off a three-game series where they got swept by the Milwaukee Brewers (in Wisconsin).

That said, Aaron Judge hit his 16th home run (on Sunday), which leads the American League.

During their series with the Orioles, Judge can make MLB history.

He needs just one home run to tie Dwight Evans (385) for 68th on the all-time list.

Just Baseball wrote: “The only players in the last 5 seasons with 16+ HR in their first 41 games of the season: 2022 Aaron Judge 2026 Aaron Judge 2026 Kyle Schwarber 2 of the premier sluggers of a generation”

Judge comes into the series batting .267 with 39 hits, 16 home runs, 30 RBI’s, 35 runs and five stolen bases in his first 41 games of the 2026 season.

He is in his 11th season with the Yankees.

The future Hall of Famer will have a chance to win his third MVP in the last four years.

Ryan M. Spaeder wrote: “#Yankees Aaron Judge is on pace for 138 runs, 63 home runs, 119 RBI, and 10.3 WAR. If he maintains his pace exactly… he has his FIFTH best season in terms of OPS.”

The Yankees enter play as the second-place team in the American League East with a 26-15 record in 41 games (1.0 games back of the Tampa Bay Rays for first).

They are 12-9 in 21 games on the road away from the Bronx.

After three games with the Orioles, the Yankees will start a series with the New York Mets on Friday night at Citi Field.

The Orioles enter Monday’s series as the fourth-place team in the American League East with an 18-23 record in 41 games.

At home, they have gone 10-11 in 21 games.

Following the Yankees, the Orioles will visit the Washington Nationals on Friday.

Earlier this month, the Orioles got swept by the Yankees (in the Bronx).
