Kyle Schwarber: Everything you need to know

Schwarber went 5-for-6 with two home runs, two doubles, three walks, three total runs and three total RBI across both games of Thursday's doubleheader sweep of the Giants. Schwarber foreshadowed his impressive day at the plate with a solo home run in his first plate appearance during Game 1. He reached two more times (via walks) in that contest, then exploded for four hits (including another solo homer and two doubles) in the nightcap. Altogether, Schwarber reached base eight times in nine plate appearances during the twin bill, and he pushed his season batting average up from .190 all the way to .225. Schwarber has been plenty productive despite the tepid batting average, swatting 11 homers (fourth-most in MLB). He's also drawn at least one walk in six straight games and is tied for eighth in the majors by taking 24 free passes on the campaign.

Schwarber went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 6-2 loss to Atlanta. Schwarber clubbed homer No. 9 on Sunday, taking Atlanta southpaw Aaron Bummer deep in the eighth inning. The All-Star slugger has just three multi-hit games and zero stolen bases through 28 contests, hurting fantasy managers in batting average and steals, but he continues to deliver in the power department. Schwarber is batting only .196, but he does have 14 extra-base hits, 17 RBI, 19 walks and 17 runs scored over 102 at-bats.

Schwarber went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and a walk in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Atlanta. Schwarber had gone just 2-for-16 with eight strikeouts over his previous four games. He broke that slump with a first-inning blast that accounted for all of Philadelphia's runs in this game. Schwarber is having a season that matches his usual production -- he's batting just .227 over 21 contests, but he's posted a .936 OPS, seven homers, 14 RBI, 13 runs scored and four doubles. He has yet to attempt a stolen base after going 10-for-12 in steals in the 2025 regular season.
