The Yankees have now won four games in a row.

After their latest victory, manager Aaron Boone made a strong statement when he met with the media (via YES Network).

Reporter: “We’ve talked so much too about the offense and them trying to score runs. Last two scored 11 total combined. Just what do you think has been the difference with the offense over the last two?”

Boone: “Better. Better. Again, I feel and I do feel like we’ve been better for the last week or 10 days, even on some of the days where we haven’t had results. And again, I feel like some individuals are in a little bit better of a place. As a team, we’re in a little better of a place offensively… We got to keep getting better. There’s more in there for all of us, and we got to keep getting it out.”

Here’s what people were saying on social media:

@YankeeReport_: “There’s a division title to be won for the Yankees. Team is too talented especially with reinforcements coming to settle for a wild card.”

Bryan Hoch: “Ballgame over, Yankees win. 6-1 is your final at Camden Yards. The Yankees sweep Baltimore and have won four straight.”

Gary Sheffield Jr.: “This game could not be going better YANKEES. FOUR. GAMES. BACK.”

Chris Kirschner: “The Yankees have swept the Orioles. They are now 72-55 on the season and 4 games behind the Rays. This is the closest the Yankees have been in the division since Aug. 4.”

Randy Wilkins: “That is a big relief performance from Yarbrough and a big sweep for the Yankees. They’re 17 games above .500 and the division is well within reach. It’s a long season and they’re still doing well despite the large amount of deserved frustration. Good things are still to come.”
