Anthony DiComo: “FINAL: Yankees 5, Mets 2 WP: Cam Schlittler LP: Clay Holmes 📰 Schlittler dominated (outside of a Juan Soto homer), and Holmes gave the Mets his worst start of the season in a Subway Series dud. 📊 Record: 18-26 📉 Streak: L1 🏃‍♂️ Pace: 66-96 Next: Saturday vs. NYY, 7:15 p.m.”

Jorge Castillo: “The Yankees take the Subway Series opener behind another dominant outings from Cam Schlittler. He has a 1.35 ERA through 10 starts. Juan Soto homered, but the Mets had just three runners in scoring position all night.”
