Toronto Blue Jays Announce Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Decision Before Cubs Game

On Thursday afternoon, the Toronto Blue Jays will play the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.

They are coming off a 5-4 victory over the Houston Astros on Wednesday in Texas.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. did not play in the game.

UPDATE: The Blue Jays lost 3-2.

Guerrero Jr. remains out of the lineup on Thursday.

The six-time MLB All-Star is currently batting .259 with 104 hits, six home runs, 44 RBIs, 56 runs and seven stolen bases in 108 games.

He is in the middle of his 8th season at the MLB level (all with the Blue Jays).

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. not in the Blue Jays lineup again as manager John Schneider the feeling was another day made sense for him.

“He’s feeling better, there’s no injury there,” said Schneider. “It’s just a little bit of tightness (in his hamstring) still.”
