Tyler Reddick has opened the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season with a historic start. The 23XI Racing driver won the first three races of the year. His victories came at Daytona, Atlanta, and the Circuit of the Americas. No driver had started a Cup Series season with three straight wins before this year.

Reddick now enters the next race with strong momentum. His performance has given him an early lead in the standings. It has also placed his team in the spotlight. Reddick recently spoke about the streak during a SiriusXM NASCAR Radio interview.

He pointed to strong execution from the team. Clean races and avoiding mistakes have played a key role so far. The No. 45 team has turned speed into wins through the opening three events.

Tyler Reddick Points To Execution As The Key

Reddick explained the importance of clean races during a SiriusXM NASCAR Radio interview. He said mistakes can quickly change results in the current field.

“Right now, with how we’re rolling, if we make a mistake or don’t have a clean day, that can stop us from winning. It really comes down to execution. You have to run clean races. If we can do that, I think we’ll keep putting ourselves in position to potentially win.”

Reddick also discussed the difference compared with last season. The team struggled with execution during parts of 2025.

“It’s been really nice, especially coming off last year when we didn’t execute the way we needed to. Starting this year and being able to nail it, really, three races in a row has been great.”

His comments showed how the team has improved its race management. Preparation and clean runs have helped convert speed into victories.

Historic Start For Tyler Reddick And 23XI Racing

Reddick opened the season with a win in the Daytona 500 on February 15. The race launched the 2026 Cup Series schedule. The victory gave 23XI Racing its first Daytona 500 win.

He followed that result with another victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway on February 22. Reddick stayed competitive despite damage to his car. A fender issue appeared during the race. The problem did not stop him from fighting for the lead.

One week later, Reddick delivered another strong performance. He started from the pole at the Circuit of the Americas on March 1. The race saw multiple drivers take turns at the front.

Reddick controlled much of the event. He led a race high of 58 laps. Shane van Gisbergen challenged him late. Reddick held his position and secured the win.

The victory completed three straight wins to begin the season. That result placed him in the NASCAR record books.

Phoenix Raceway Presents Next Challenge

The NASCAR Cup Series now moves to Phoenix Raceway. Reddick enters the event as the current points leader. His three victories created a strong early advantage.

A fourth straight win would add another record. No driver in the modern era has opened a Cup Series season with four straight victories.

Phoenix Raceway will determine if the run continues. The Cup Series field returns to the track Sunday afternoon. The race will mark the fourth event of the 2026 season.
