On Wednesday night, the Golden State Warriors will be in Memphis to play the Grizzlies.
The Warriors are coming off a 113-109 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center on Tuesday.
Draymond Green finished Tuesday’s loss with 11 points, seven rebounds, six assists and two blocks while shooting 5/11 from the field and 1/3 from three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time.

For Wednesday’s game, the Warriors will be without the future Hall of Famer, as he is dealing with a back injury.
Via Joseph Dycus of Mercury News: “WARRIORS INJURY UPDATE: Draymond Green out with a lower back ailment + injury management, so this could just be Kerr giving Green the second night of a B2B off. He missed Monday’s game with a sore back. Horford will play, Melton is out.”
It’s likely nothing serious, as the Warriors are more interested in saving Green for the stretch run of the season.
The 35-year-old is currently averaging 8.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists per contest while shooting 41.0% from the field and 32.0% from three-point range in 48 games.
He is in his 14th season in the NBA out of Michigan State (all with Golden State).

In addition to Green, the Warriors are also without Steph Curry, Kristaps Porzingis, Jimmy Butler, LJ Cryer, Seth Curry, De’Anthony Melton and Nate Williams.
Therefore, they are extremely shorthanded heading into the matchup with the Grizzlies.
The Warriors enter the night as the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 30-28 record in 58 games.
They have won four out of their last ten games (and are 11-17 in 28 games away from the Chase Center).
Following the Grizzlies, the Warriors will play their next game on Saturday night when they host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in San Francisco.
On the other side of the matchup, the Grizzlies will also be without their best player, as Ja Morant remains out of the lineup.
They are in rebuilding mode after trades that sent away Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane.
Right now, the Grizzlies are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 21-35 record in 56 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak (and have won three out of their last ten).
Following Golden State, the Grizzlies will play their next game on Friday night when they visit the Dallas Mavericks.
The Warriors are coming off a season where they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Grizzlies got swept by the OKC Thunder in the first round.
