The Lakers most recently beat the New York Knicks (also at home) by a score of 110-97.
Dalton Knecht did not play in the game.

UPDATE: Bronny James, Adou Thiero and Dalton Knecht have all been recalled to the NBA before Tuesday’s game (h/t Ryan Ward of Lakers OnSI).
Before Tuesday’s game with the Timberwolves, the Lakers have announced that Knecht has been assigned to the G League (South Bay).
David Mendez-Yapkowitz of ClutchPoints wrote: “Lakers announce that Bronny James, Dalton Knecht and Adou Thiero have been assigned to South Bay.
South Bay has home games in between Lakers games tomorrow and Friday.”
Knecht was the 17th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft out of Tennessee.
He is averaging 4.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per contest while shooting 44.8% from the field and 30.7% from three-point range in 47 games this season.
Knecht has only appeared in one G League game.
He put up 30 points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block while shooting 10/17 from the field and 6/10 from three-point range in 37 minutes.
Lakers Ahead Of T-Wolves
The Lakers have had another solid regular season with a 39-25 record in 64 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and winners of six out of ten).
Following the Timberwolves, the Lakers will remain at home to host the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.
Looking Ahead For Knecht
The 24-year-old still has promise to be a solid rotational player for the Lakers (or another team).
Coming out of college, he was known for his ability to shoot.
Magic Johnson wrote (in 2024): “Laker Nation, outstanding pick last night by our Lakers selecting Dalton Knecht – I love it! Dalton is just what the Lakers need, a deadly 3-point shooter/scorer who is physically tough and has swag. He also played for a winning program and really good college coach at Tennessee, Rick Barnes! Dalton is a guy that has a chance to start or play a lot off the bench.”
