The New York Knicks are coming off three losses in a row, and hope to get a win to break the losing streak as they are set to play the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night.
However, the Knicks will be without franchise star Jalen Brunson, as he was officially ruled out with an ankle injury before the game.
In the lead-up to the cross-conference contest, New York announced their starting lineup and final injury report against the Grizzlies.

Before the game, the Knicks’ starting lineup, one that does not feature Brunson, was announced.
Jose Alvarado, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Karl-Anthony Towns all got the nod from head coach Mike Brown.
This lineup has yet to be used by the Knicks this season, as since they acquired Alvarado at the trade deadline, Brunson hasn’t missed any time.
However, even without Brunson and a few other key players, it’s a starting lineup Brown will have to use against Memphis, a team that has struggled over the past few months.
Jalen Brunson Injury Update

Brunson was originally questionable for the game against the Grizzlies.
However, just over an hour before the game, he was ruled out with an ankle injury. It’s officially right ankle soreness keeping him out, according to team insider Stefan Bondy of the New York Post.
Brunson has missed time earlier in the season with an ankle injury, so the Knicks are likely playing it safe in keeping him out on Wednesday night.
In 70 games this year, Brunson is averaging 26.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 6.7 assists on 46.5% shooting.
New York Knicks Injury Report

While Brunson was first questionable before being ruled out, the Knicks were already set to miss both Miles McBride and Mitchell Robinson for the game against the Grizzlies.
McBride, in his first game against the Oklahoma City Thunder back after recovering from surgery, appeared to re-injure a sports hernia that had kept him out for nearly two months.
While he did end up playing against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday, he’s been ruled out for Wednesday, officially with pelvic, core muscle injury management, according to the final Knicks injury report.
Robinson is out due to left ankle management, an injury status that has been prevalent all season. It isn’t surprising that the backup center is sitting on the second night of a back-to-back.
The Knicks are currently 48-28 and third in the Eastern Conference standings, and have lost three games in a row.
