Taylor Rooks has been on a winning streak, both personally and professionally, starting with marrying husband Shane Fowler. Rooks is also the host of Amazon’s new “NBA on Prime Video” studio show.
Fowler and Rooks tied the knot in a star-studded New York City wedding on July 19, 2025. Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant was among the headliners to attend the wedding.
Other celebs included rapper Jack Harlow, Golden State Warriors big man Draymond Green and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell among others, per GQ’s Matthew Roberson. NFL stars made appearances as well with Micah Parsons and Saquon Barkley also in attendance.
There were a few rules in place, even for the celebrities. Rooks and Fowler requested that guests not use their phones at the wedding.
“I’m an incredibly private person because it’s important to have a life that belongs to you,” Rooks told GQ in 2025. “Our relationship belongs to us. Our love belongs to us, so it’s only right that the moment belonged to us.”

Rooks has also been part of Amazon’s NFL coverage. During an interview with US Weekly’s Daniel Trainor, Rooks called 2025 her “favorite year of my life.”
“It’s just so trippy to see your worlds collide,” Rooks said of the couple’s wedding day during an October 1, interview. “People having a conversation that you just never thought would be having a conversation.
“Your worlds are meshing and seeing all the people you love in one room is crazy. It was a truly magical, magical night. I feel very lucky, very happy. This is absolutely my favorite year of my life.”
