Before she dated, and ultimately married Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, singer/actress Hailee Steinfeld was a devoted fan of the Denver Broncos.
So when an old tweet of Steinfeld’s from 2016 — long before she got involved with Allen — went viral earlier this week, it got fans from both teams talking.
“HELL YEAH BRONCOS!!!! 💥 @starterofficial #SUPERBOWL,” Steinfeld tweeted back on Feb. 7, 2016, along with a photo of herself donning Broncos gear and dabbing in the stands during their 24-10 Super Bowl 50 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Of course, the tweet resurfaced and caused such a stir because the Bills, who are quarterbacks by Steinfeld’s husband, play the Broncos at Mile High Stadium on Saturday with a trip to the AFC Championship Game at stake.
What Allen Said About Steinfeld’s Broncos Fandom

Steinfeld’s resurfaced tweet went viral by Thursday morning, so naturally, everyone was curious what Allen’s reaction was upon seeing it.
CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson took the opportunity to ask Allen about it, to which he gave a pretty entertaining answer.
“Asked Josh about this pic and he told me he had no idea it was floating around. Laughed and said she was probably paid to be there. And that he definitely wasn’t going to bring it up at home. 😂,” Wolfson wrote on X.
Broncos fans had fun at Allen and the Bills’ expense on social media, throwing subtle jabs about Steinfeld really wanting Denver to win on Saturday.
“You know who she will be secretly rooting for on Saturday 😏,” one Broncos fan joked.
“She rooting for her Broncos in her heart , but she repping Bills for her Hubby,” a second fan remarked.
“One of us! One of us!” another added.
“It’s over for Buffalo,” scoffed another fan.
Bills’ Latest Injury Report for Broncos Game
Buffalo has been rocked by a couple of notable injuries in the week leading up to Saturday’s game.
Wide receivers Gabe Davis and Tyrell Shavers will be out after bother suffered ACL tears in last week’s 27-24 win over the No. 3 seed Jacksonville Jaguars. The team has also ruled out two important defensive backs as well — Jordan Poyer (hamstring) and cornerback Maxwell Hairston (ankle).
Running back Ty Johnson’s status is also up in the air after missing the wild-card matchup against the Jaguars with an ankle injury. He hasn’t practiced all week and was a limited participant on Thursday.
Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters he’s taking a wait-and-see approach. Johnson will likely be a game-time decision.
However, there is some good news on the injury front.
Safety Damar Hamlin had his practice window opened last week. He’s been practicing with the team, and he could return to the lineup by the weekend, potentially helping to fill the void left by Poyer’s injury.
Additionally, star defensive tackle Ed Oliver and wide receiver Curtis Samule both had their practice windows opened this week, and there’s a chance one or both could be ready to go by Saturday, as could linebacker Terrell Bernard, who’s also listed as questionable.
