Bills quarterback Josh Allen took a beating during the AFC Wild Card Playoff game at EverBank Stadium on January 11, 2026.

The Buffalo Bills look to punch their ticket to the AFC championship game by taking down the Denver Broncos on January 17.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen hyped up his teammate in the tunnel before taking the field at Mile High Stadium. “I love y’all, boys,” he said. “What an opportunity. Have some [expletive] fun, play for each other and find a way to get it [expletive] done.”

Allen took more than few hits during the Bills’ wild-card win over the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. In fact, the bulk of the Bills roster seems to be playing through injuries. Bills tackle Dion Dawkins, Allen’s blindside protector, says a few bumps and bruises is part of the game.

“I would say the grit part of all of this is nobody’s blinking, nobody is questioning themselves,” Dawkins told reporters. “Nobody is scared; nobody is doubting. We could be down 20-0. We’re going to come out when that clock starts going, and we’re going to fight you until the end. And hopefully we win, but if we lose, we’re going to go down punching on you.”

Cheering on the Bills in Denver on Saturday, Allen’s family. While Allen’s wife, Hailee Steinfeld, always keeps a low profile at games, his mother, LaVonne Allen, and two sisters, MaKenna Allen and Nicala Madden, didn’t shy away from making their presence known.

Allen’s mom and sister arrived at the playoff game in full Bills gear. They also held a sign with a nod to Marv Levy’s famous quote, “Where else would you rather be?”

One fan commented, “Right there with you ladies!!! Let’s Go Buffalo!!!!!!❤️💙.” One woman finished off the quote, “THAN RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!!!! GO BILLLLSSSSSSSS!!!!!! 💙🦬❤️.”

The day before, MaKenna and Nicala showed off how they arrived to Denver on their Instagram Stories — a private jet. While Allen’s parents are based in Northern California, they attend multiple Bills games throughout the season, as does his sisters.

Josh Allen’s Mom Shared a Rare Comment About His Wedding to Hailee Steinfeld

Matt Barkley, who served as Allen’s backup quarterback between 2018 and 2020 and returned as a member of the practice squad during the 2022 season, attended Allen and Steinfeld’s wedding in May. As did his wife, Brittany Barkley.

Brittany’s photos from the Bills star’s wedding caught the attention of Allen’s mother, LaVonne Allen, who keeps her Instagram profile private.

LaVonne commented on the post, “The most beautiful wedding with the most gorgeous couples. 🤍💍🎉. Loved seeing all of you looking so dreamy💕.” Brittany replied, “the most perfect day!! Ugh just so much LOVE. Love you 💖💖.”

Steinfeld gushed over seeing all their friends and family in one place in her newsletter, Beau Society. “It felt like love was running through the veins of every tree at our gorgeous venue in Santa Barbara. Our family and friends coming together amplified it.”

The night before tying the knot on May 31, Allen and the Oscar-nominated actress had dinner with just their immediate family.

“It was just the fourteen of us; a calm before the festivities. At one point, [her brother] Griffin [Steinfeld] unexpectedly prompted the question, ‘When did you know Hailee and Josh were meant to be together?’ Everyone went around and shared tiny, sweet, thoughtful, and funny observations. It was so special.”
