Aubrey converted his only extra-point try and all four of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's loss to the Saints. The Cowboys had trouble finishing off drives Sunday, giving Aubrey plenty of chances to show off his big leg -- his longest FG went for 52 yards in the first quarter. His 28 points through two games leads all kickers, following up a rookie season in 2023 that saw him lead the NFL with 157 points. Aubrey could be busy again in Week 3 against a Ravens team that's allowed six FG attempts through two weeks.

Latest Cowboys News
Brandon Aubrey : Busy in Sunday’s loss
Aubrey converted his only extra-point try and all four of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's loss to the Saints. The Cowboys had trouble finishing off drives Sunday, giving Aubrey plenty of chances to show off his big leg -- his longest FG went for 52 yards in the first quarter. His 28 points through two games leads all kickers, following up a rookie season in 2023 that saw him lead the NFL with 157 points. Aubrey could be busy again in Week 3 against a Ravens team that's allowed six FG attempts through two weeks.
Deuce Vaughn : Fives touches Sunday
Vaughn carried the ball four times for 11 yards and caught his only target for six yards in Sunday's loss to the Saints. The second-year player continues to mix into the backfield behind Rico Dowdle and Ezekiel Elliott, but Vaughn has yet to find much running room, as his six-yard reception Sunday is his longest gain of the year so far. Should Dallas decide to elevate Dalvin Cook from the practice squad at some point, it could be Vaughn who loses his spot on the game-day roster.
Jalen Brooks : One grab against New Orleans
Brooks caught one of three targets for 10 yards in Sunday's loss to the Saints. The second-year wideout has caught exactly one pass in each of the Cowboys' first two games this season. While he's holding down a steady role in the offense, Brooks isn't likely to see significant volume as long as CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks and Jalen Tolbert are all healthy.
Brandin Cooks : Quiet in Week 2 loss
Cooks caught both his targets for 19 yards and lost three yards on one carry in Sunday's loss to the Saints. The Cowboys were down 35-16 heading into halftime, but Cooks still didn't see much volume as the team tried desperately to catch up in the second half. Instead, it was Jalen Tolbert who stepped up with a 6-82-0 line on nine targets. Cooks did score a TD in Dallas' opener, but otherwise he hasn't been able to make much of an impact, and if Tolbert continues to impress, he could pass the veteran on the depth chart. Cooks will try to break out in Week 3 against a Ravens secondary that ranks in the bottom 10 in catches allowed to wideouts so far.
Ezekiel Elliott : Poor showing in loss
Elliott carried the ball six times for 16 yards and caught two of three targets for 16 yards in Sunday's loss to the Saints. Rico Dowdle got the start in the backfield for the Cowboys, and while Elliott eventually saw a comparable workload (eight touches to Dowdle's 11), the veteran was less effective. So far, Elliott's return to Dallas hasn't gone well -- he's averaged just 3.5 yards per carry through two games, and only a three-yard TD plunge in the opener has salvaged his fantasy production. A breakout seems unlikely in Week 3 against a stingy Ravens run defense that's allowed the fewest rushing yards per game in the league through two weeks.
Damone Clark : Piles up seven tackles in loss
Clark recorded seven tackles (five solo) in the Cowboys' Week 2 loss to the Saints on Sunday. After playing just 34 percent of the defensive snaps off the bench in the Week 1 win over the Browns, Clark started and doubled his snap share -- 69 percent -- versus New Orleans. Through two games, Clark has 11 tackles (seven solo) to his name. He's also played 18 snaps on special teams.
Donovan Wilson : Intercepts pass in loss to Saints
Wilson recorded six tackles (two solo) and one interception in Sunday's Week 2 loss to the Saints. Wilson has played 95 percent of the defensive snaps through two weeks. His interception came in the fourth quarter with the Cowboys already losing 41-19. After two games, Wilson has eight tackles (two solo), two pass breakups and the one interception.
Eric Kendricks : Records eight tackles in loss
Kendricks recorded eight tackles (three solo) in Dallas' loss to the Saints on Sunday. After playing just 67 percent of the defensive snaps in the Week 1 win over Cleveland due to dehydration, Kendricks was able to stay on the field versus New Orleans, finishing with a 95 percent snap share. His eight tackles led the team, and Kendricks now has 17 tackles (nine solo), including 2.0 sacks, two QB hits and one interception after two contests.
