The Denver Broncos’ search for potential roster depth extended beyond Andre Carter II and Devean Deal to include David Ebuka Agoha and Jeremiah Moon. Of the group, Moon has the most experience.
That arguably makes him the most interesting target.
The Broncos have led the NFL in sacks over the past two seasons, making them an intriguing landing spot for any pass rusher.

News of the Broncos’ interest in Carter and Deael emerged first, but Agoha and Moon were part of the visit as well. It remains to be seen if the Broncos have any intention of signing one or more from the group.
Still, they clearly feel they could stand to add there, or at least have standby options.
“Broncos held try outs for four players today,” DNVR’s Zac Stevens reported on X on August 6, noting Agoha, Carter, Deal, and Moon’s visits.
Moon, who turns 28 on August 18, has spent time with the Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, and Pittsburgh Steelers. He has played in 24 games during his career so far. That includes drawing two starts, one each for the Ravens and Steelers.
He has tallied 23 total tackles and 2 forced fumbles.
Broncos Planning Ahead

Moon, who is listed at 6-foot-5, is a longer edge defender, like Carter. Agoha, meanwhile, is built more like Deal (and Broncos OLBs Jonathon Cooper and Dondrea Tillman).
“#Broncos also worked out DL David Agoha, an NFL international prospect from Nigeria, and OLB Jeremiah Moon,” 9News’ Mike Klis posted on X, corroborating Stevens’ report before adding further context.
“Broncos are working out players in case need arises in future.”
Players in the IPP program can be rostered on an exemption, meaning they do not count toward the 90-player limit.
However, the Broncos used their 2026 exemption on second-year punter and 2025 sixth-round pick, Jeremy Crawshaw. Moreover, the Broncos cannot transfer the exemption to another player. That means Agoha must vie for one of the 16 standard practice squad roster spots.
Agoha has spent time with the Steelers and Tennessee Titans.
