The Green Bay Packers will likely decide to rest quarterback, Jordan Love, for the team’s meaningless regular season finale against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. A move that would have been prudent irregardless, but that makes even more sense given the fact that he missed Week 17’s defensive implosion against the Baltimore Ravens with a concussion.

However, heading into the New Year, Love has a big announcement of his own – this time on the more personal side.

Per Love’s Instagram account, his wife, Ronika Stone is pregnant – with the pair posing in multiple photos showing off her new look, in addition to some Polaroid pictures of her ultrasound.

Love and Stone have been together officially since 2020, having met through a FaceTime call with a mutual friend whilst at university.

The two got engaged in June 2024, before officially tying the knot a year later in June 2025. And now, it seems there will be another member of their family heading into their lives in 2026.

Stone is a professional volleyball player, who currently plays for the San Diego Mojo.

Indeed, Love’s wife has her own ties to the NFL. Her father, Ron Stone was an offensive lineman who played 12 years in the league – predominantly at guard – for the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders.

He won two Super Bowl rings with the Cowboys in their Troy Aikman-era in the early-mid 1990s, and went on to be nominated to the Pro Bowl three times, from 2000-2002, and the All-Pro team twice, in 2000 and 2002.

Her brother, RJ, also got into football and played for Washington State as a linebacker until the 2023 season, whilst her sister Ronna did track at university.

Jordan Love Facing Significant Pressure Ahead Of Playoffs

Aside from having a baby on the way, Love could be feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders come Wild Card weekend.

Both Love and backup, Malik Willis, will be rested in Week 18, as former Arizona Cardinals fifth round draft pick, Clayton Tune is set to take the stage against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Not only will there be pressure on Love to not get bounced in the first round for the second straight year, but the only possible opponents for the Packers’ first playoff game are the Philadelphia Eagles, who knocked Green Bay out of the postseason a year ago, or the Chicago Bears, division rivals who just beat the team in excruciating fashion back in Week 16.

And, it would not have helped that the team saw Willis put in an unbelievably strong display in the 41-24 defeat against the Ravens, one that has now made him one of the top candidates to get a handsome starting-quarterback contract when he hits free agency in March.

But, Love has a lot of talent, and a win in the Wild Card round would silence many critics about his ability to win big games in the postseason.
