Fans can expect to see Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes‘ wife, Brittany Mahomes, in São Paulo, Brazil for the primetime showdown . According to a recent report, tight end Travis Kelce‘s fiancée, Taylor Swift, is also planning to be in Brazil for Week 1.
Brittany and Swift, who’ve formed a close relationship over the past two years, reunited to watch Kelce’s alumni, the Cincinnati Bearcats, take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Arrowhead Stadium on August 28. Kelce played for the Bearcats from 2009 to 2012 before becoming the Chiefs‘ No. 63 overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft.

This marked Swift and Kelce’s first outing since the 10-time Pro Bowler got down on knee and proposed. The 35-year-old pop star flashed her 8-carat, old mine brilliant cut diamond ring during the Huskers’ 20-17 win over the Bearcats.
The following day, Brittany jetted off to celebrate her 30th birthday. She posted a photo on her Instagram Stories that shows a private jet decked out in orange and pink balloons

The photo was initially posted by Lyndsay Bell, whose husband, Blake Bell, is a former tight end for the Chiefs. While fans wondered if Swift joined the birthday festivities, they got their answer on Saturday, August 30.

Photos of Swift and Brittany dining out in Nashville emerged over the weekend, confirming the “Karma” singer’s attendance and the location of the celebratory weekend.
Swift owns two homes in Nashville, a penthouse on Music Row and a mansion known as Northumberland Estate, per Page Six. The 14-time Grammy spent time in Nashville in June while attending Kelce’s Tight End University.
While some fans were thrilled to see Swift and Brittany spending time together, others expressed dismay due to their differing political views. One fan posted, “She’s going to be at Taylor’s wedding by the way and she might even be a bridesmaid.”
Another fan wrote, “Do you guys not get bored of complaining about her? It’s been 2 years lmao like Taylor obviously doesn’t give a [expletive] what you’re thoughts are on there friendship just crop her out of the pics.”
Brittany’s husband also turns 30 in just a few weeks. The opening of three-time Super Bowl MVP’s restaurant with Kelce, 1587 Prime, is set to have their big opening night on his 30th birthday — Wednesday, September 17.

During an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” last May, Mahomes revealed that if it wasn’t for him, America’s most famous couple might not exist.
“I’d like to take some of the credit,” Mahomes said. “I was the one who invited Travis to the first Taylor concert…he was sitting in my suite — so I feel like I was the matchmaker.
“I had some input in there as well, I was like, ‘Dude, just go for it. Just go for it.’ And you know Travis, man, he does it. He’s a great dude and I’m glad it’s all worked out for the best.”
Mahomes has championed their relationship since day one and is a huge fan of Swift. “I’ve met a lot of famous people now in my life,” Mahomes told TIME last year. “Taylor’s probably the most down-to-earth person that’s been on that stage for that long.”
