Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce sparked fresh wedding speculation after a night out in New York City on April 17. The engaged couple kept things low-key as they arrived at Casa Cipriani in Lower Manhattan, but fans quickly took notice once details about their dinner companions surfaced.
Swift, 36, and the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, 36, were seen entering the private members-only club behind a wall of umbrellas to maintain privacy. However, fans connected the outing to jeweler Kindred Lubeck, who designed Swift’s engagement ring, prompting questions about whether the couple may be preparing for their wedding.

Speculation intensified after Lubeck shared an Instagram Story from inside Casa Cipriani alongside Swift’s close friend Ashley Avignone. Fans quickly took notice, pointing out the timing of the appearance.
“taylor and travis meeting with kindred for wedding bands you say, taywedding truly is imminent,” one fan wrote on X, while another added, “Meeting with Kindred Lubeck under umbrellas? Wedding band era incoming!”
Lubeck is the goldsmith behind Artifex Fine and created Swift’s engagement ring, an old mine brilliant-cut diamond set on a yellow gold band with hand-engraved detailing. The ring has been estimated by gem experts to be worth up to $1 million.
The jeweler also recently launched a bridal line, Artifex Bridal, on April 10. The collection includes pieces such as a channel-set baguette-cut diamond wedding band priced at $8,200, fueling speculation that Swift and Kelce could be finalizing wedding details.
Reports about the couple’s wedding timeline have continued to circulate. Page Six previously reported that save-the-dates were sent for a July 3 ceremony in New York City. Earlier claims suggested a June 13 wedding at Rhode Island’s Ocean House, though a planner tied to that venue publicly denied Swift was involved.
Swift & Kelce Enjoy Private Celebration at Casa Cipriani
During their night out, Swift and Kelce appeared to be celebrating a friend’s birthday with a small group. Jazz musician Richie Nuzz, who performed at the club, described the atmosphere during the evening.
“At the end of the night, I saw her walking towards the stage, and then that’s when I realized, you know, she was giving us a tip,” Nuzz told Page Six. “And then she kind of like, did this bow thing, like with her hands, like praise you kind of thing. And, like, blew me a kiss.”
He added, “She was so sweet about it, and it made us feel really good,” confirming that the singer was “generous.” Guitarist Jackson Potter later indicated on social media that Swift tipped $200 per band member.
Nuzz also shared that Swift and Kelce remained seated together throughout the night, describing the outing as intimate.
“They were sitting right next to each other. They were obviously having an intimate night and celebration,” he said.
According to Nuzz, Swift was engaged with the performance throughout the evening.
“She was dancing. She was grooving,” he said, adding that the energy in the room felt “magical.”
“It wasn’t like anybody was bothering her. It’s just like the energy that she brought to the room — everybody was having a great time. And like the band, we were vibing,” he explained.
He also noted that security and staff helped maintain the couple’s privacy while they were inside the venue.
