NFL fans are about to get a closer look at Saquon Barkley’s life and his future wife Anna Congdon appears to also be part of the new “Saquon” documentary that Amazon is releasing on October 9, 2025. On the eve of the Philadelphia Eagles’ season opener against the Dallas Cowboys, Barkley announced that he has been working on a documentary for the past five years.
Amazon dropped the new trailer which also features several cameos from his longtime girlfriend in the preview of the documentary with Hollywood heavyweight Martin Scorsese as the executive producer. Barkley’s voice is heard throughout the trailer with the footage ranging from his family life with Congdon to intense negotiations with the New York Giants.
“It’s been a five-year journey,” Barkley noted in the trailer for “Saquon.” “I’ve been using this as my diary, as my therapy. You get to see the journey it took to get to this point.
“… It’s one of the coolest things that I’ve ever been a part of. Let’s go show the world I’m Saquon Barkley.

The couple quietly got engaged in 2024 but the news broke days before the Super Bowl. Barkley opened up about the couple’s engagement during an interview with People’s Gabrielle Rockson and Alex Ross ahead of the Super Bowl.
“I’m just not good with stuff like that (proposal),” Barkley told People during the February 4, interview. “I’m a lover boy, but I’m not like a clever lover boy.
“… This is not new by the way. I know it just broke the other day but I’ve been engaged for like six months.”

Congdon and Barkley are the proud parents of two kids: son Saquon Jr. and daughter Jada. After the Eagles‘ massive Super Bowl win, Congdon took to Instagram to celebrate the big moment and share an adorable family photo with the Lombardi Trophy.
“Dear God, thank you for this moment,” Congdon noted in a February 11, message on Instagram.
Prior to the Super Bowl, Congdon also took a moment to celebrate the Eagles‘ NFC Championship victory as her future husband punched his ticket to the Super Bowl.
“If I could wrap my arms around this memory, I would,” Congdon said in the January 27, Instagram post.

Barkley credits his longtime girlfriend for the success on the football fan. The Eagles running back gushed over Congdon noting she “always has my back.
“I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have in my career without the help of her,” Barkley told People. “She … always has my back, not only in football but throughout life.
“But as we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better,” Barkley added.
“And it’s a beautiful thing because we have two amazing children that we were raised and we just sit back and laugh sometimes when they’re over there playing and just smile and think about where everything started.”
