On Monday, the UFC shared major breaking news regarding its upcoming UFC London event. The Fight Night card will be headlined by a high-stakes featherweight clash between Movsar Evloev and Lerone Murphy.
UFC London is set for Mar. 21 and will stream live on Paramount+. The event takes place at the famous O2 Arena in London, England. The card will feature plenty of local talent, with several matchups including fighters based in the U.K.
The MMA community voiced outrage when Evloev and Murphy were passed over for a featherweight title opportunity. Diego Lopes received the title shot against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 325 instead. That fight saw Volkanovski retain his title by unanimous decision.
Evloev and Murphy enter the matchup with added motivation. With Volkanovski expressing interest in facing both, the bout could serve as a title eliminator.

Evloev last fought at UFC 310 in 2024. There, he earned a unanimous decision victory over former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling.
Murphy, meanwhile, enters the bout riding the momentum from his knockout win over Aaron Pico at UFC 319 last August. He brings an unbeaten 17-0-1 professional record.
Movsar Evloev Shares Immediate Reaction to UFC London Announcement
As soon as the UFC announced him as the headliner for UFC London, Movsar Evloev shared his reaction. He made his intentions clear ahead of his main event clash with Lerone Murphy.
Evloev is determined not to be overlooked for a featherweight title shot again. He’ll need to deliver an impressive performance and a decisive victory.
Evloev took to his X account and reposted the UFC’s announcement, along with his reaction. He vowed to claim the No. 1 contender spot and secure a title shot against Alexander Volkanovski.
“I am coming for what’s mine!” Evloev wrote on X.
This reaction follows his previous response to Volkanovski’s successful title defense against Diego Lopes. He congratulated ‘The Great’ on retaining his featherweight title and expressed his desire to share the octagon with him.

Michael ‘Venom’ Page Returns to Welterweight
Fan-favorite Michael ‘Venom’ Page returns to the octagon at UFC London.
Page, 38, is coming off back-to-back wins over Shara Magomedov and Jarred Cannonier at middleweight. Given his success at 185 pounds, his return to welterweight comes as a surprise. He faces Sam Patterson on the main card.
This will be Page’s first fight in London since 2022. He faced Logan Storley for the interim Bellator welterweight title at Bellator 281, losing by split decision.
