The Indiana Fever are set to host the Dallas Wings at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday for their second preseason game.
The Fever defeated the New York Liberty 109-91 in their first preseason game last Saturday at the Barclays Center.
Caitlin Clark struggled in her first WNBA action since July, finishing with just seven points on 2-for-10 shooting. Kelsey Mitchell had a strong performance, scoring 18 points, while Shatori Walker-Kimbaugh also had 18 points off the bench.
Indiana Fever’s Injury Report
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Fever revealed their injury report for Thursday’s game against Dallas.
Four players are listed as out: Aliyah Boston, Tyasha Harris, Lexie Hull and Justin Pissott.
Boston and Pissott are dealing with lower leg injuries, while Harris has an issue on her knee. Hull is nursing a hamstring injury.
Boston, Harris and Hull are missing their second straight preseason game, while Pissott played against the Liberty. The rookie had eight points and made two 3-point shots off the bench.
Damiris Dantas, who missed the first preseason due to being overseas, returned to Indiana earlier this week. She’ll be available to play against Dallas.
Stephanie White Shares Update on Injured Players
Speaking to reporters after Wednesday’s practice, Stephanie White revealed that the Fever are going to be cautious about their injured players. She wants everyone to be healthy before allowing them to suit up, possibly on Saturday’s final preseason game against the Nigeria Women’s National Team.
“I don’t know if we’re going to play them tomorrow,” White said, via Sports Illustrated. “I think we’ll still probably be cautious with that. The goal is probably to get some of them minutes on Saturday, if we can. But still, we’ve got another week again from that game until our home opener.”
The coach added, “We’ll take it slow, we’ll see how it goes. Every day they’ve been adding things that they’ve been doing in their return to play. There’s no reason right now I don’t think to rush it, so we’ll make sure they’re fully ready to go.”
Injuries were a major problem last season, so it’s understandable why the Fever wants to extra careful with their players.
Fans Want More Clarity From Indiana Fever

Despite announcing the injury reports, some Fever fans want clarity about the injuries to Boston, Hull, Harris and Pissott.
They even brought up the way the Fever handled Clark’s injury last year before eventually ruling her out for the rest of the season.
“The problem is you lied your a**es off last year about CC’s injuries, so know one believes anything you say about this year,” a fan wrote.
Others are blaming Unrivaled for the injuries to Boston and Hull, though some point to the medical team.
“Are Lexi and AB’s injuries due to playing in Unrivaled?” one fan asked.
“I don’t trust the medical team considering what happened last year!” another fan claimed.
The Fever-Wings game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. EST tip-off.
