The long wait for the NFL season is finally over as the first NFL Sunday is here. One of the most intriguing games on the slate is a divisional matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals.

The game (1 p.m. ET) will be televised on CBS in select markets. If the game is in your market, you can watch a live stream on Amazon Prime, Paramount+, FuboTV or DirecTV Stream, which all come with a free trial.

Those are the best options if the game is in your market, but there are also some alternatives for out-of-market viewers, so here’s a full guide on the different ways to watch the Steelers vs Bengals streaming live online today:

Steelers vs Bengals Preview

The Bengals and Steelers are two teams that are in very different situations at quarterback as they enter the 2022 season. The Bengals have found their franchise quarterback in Joe Burrow while the Steelers still have some uncertainty at quarterback with Mitchell Trubisky and Kenny Pickett.

Trubisky will get the start in this one for the Steelers in his second career starting job after spending last season in Buffalo as a backup. On offense, the Steelers figure to be a run-first team behind young star back Najee Harris who rushed for 1,200 yards and seven touchdowns in his rookie season.

The Steeler offensive line should be better this season after being the youngest in the league last season. Pittsburgh added a couple of veterans to the unit in James Daniels and Mason Cole.

The receiver group should be good in Pittsburgh with a young group that features Chase Claypool, Diontae Johnson, and rookie George Pickens. The Steelers also bring back a good young tight end in Pat Freiermuth.

On defense, the Steelers should be stout up front as they bring back star T.J. Watt and mainstay Cam Heyward. They also added Larry Ogunjobi from the Bengals.

At linebacker, the unit will be led by Devin Bush and new addition Myles Jack from the Jaguars. There are concerns in the secondary as Joe Haden is gone so it’ll be up to Minkah Fitzpatrick to lead a young group.

The Bengals are coming off of a Super Bowl loss and look to build with their young team. Burrow of course leads the offense with a loaded group of young weapons that includes Ja’marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Joe Mixon.

The biggest upgrade for the Bengals this offseason came on the offensive line. The team added Alex Cappa and Ted Karras to improve the interior of a unit that gave up 51 sacks last season.

On defense, the line should be a strength again with Trey Hendrickson, Sam Hubbard, and DJ Reader. The secondary is a good young unit led by Jessie Bates III along with Mike Hinton and rookie Dax Hill. The linebackers are also a young unit with Logan Wilson and Germaine Pratt.

This will be an interesting early-season contest for both teams. It should be a game that teaches us a lot about the Steelers early.
