What has been a wild year in the UFC comes to end Friday night with the return of Ronda Rousey at UFC 207.
Making her first trip to the Octagon since her stunning defeat to Holly Holm more than a year ago, Rousey will take on Amanda Nunes for the women’s bantamweight championship. After defending her title as the fan favorite for years, Rousey, who has received criticism for the way she handled her first defeat, will find herself on the other side of the equation as the villainous challenger.
Either way, it’s a truly compelling way to round out the year, and when you throw in both a bantamweight title fight (Dominick Cruz vs. Cody Garbrandt) and a potential bantamweight title eliminator bout (T.J. Dillashaw vs. John Lineker), you have the makings for a thrilling PPV.
