Charlie Baduini is a sports journalist based in Northern New Jersey with a wide variety of sports reporting experience in print and broadcast journalism. He covers the New York Jets, New York Giants, Houston Texans, and a wide variety of NBA teams for Heavy.com.
Baduini’s byline can also be seen on The Jet Press and The Sporting News, where he covers a wide variety of teams across the NFL and NBA. He also previously served as an editor and contributor for Athlon Sports.

He also serves as a seasonal intern for ESPN, working as a production assistant for the Heisman Trophy Ceremony every year since 2022.
Education
Baduini graduated from Montclair State University with a bachelor’s degree in Television and Digital Media with a focus in Sports Journalism. He served as a broadcast intern for the Montclair State University Athletics department, covering the school’s Division III athletic teams such as football, men's and women's basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and baseball.
