The Bears placed Turner (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday. Turner suffered a season-ending torn ACL in the Bears' Week 8 loss to the Ravens. The second-round rookie's season ends after just five appearances in which he logged six tackles (six solo), including a pair of TFLs, on 74 defensive snaps.
Bears coach Ben Johnson said Monday that Turner (knee) will miss the rest of the 2025 campaign due to an ACL tear, Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The rookie second-round pick suffered a season-ending knee injury during Chicago's loss to Baltimore in Week 8 and will now turn his full attention toward making a recovery for the 2026 campaign. Turner now ends his rookie year with six solo tackles across five regular-season appearances. In Turner's absence, Andrew Billings and Jonathan Ford will now benefit from increased rotational opportunities behind top defensive tackles Grady Jarrett and Gervon Dexter.
Turner has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Ravens due to a knee injury. Turner was carted off the field after sustaining a knee injury in the first quarter, and the rookie second-rounder will not return to Sunday's game in Baltimore. With Turner done for the day and Chris Williams (coach's decision) inactive, Andrew Billings and Jonathan Ford will serve as the Bears' rotational defensive tackles behind Grady Jarrett and Gervon Dexter the rest of the way.
