Lawrence completed 23 of 35 passes for 234 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Jaguars' 35-16 loss to the Bears on Sunday in London. He also rushed four times for 17 yards. Lawrence's final line was serviceable from a fantasy perspective as he generated his third straight two-touchdown-pass tally by connecting with Gabe Davis for scoring tosses of 21 and five yards. However, there were still too many stalled drives for the Jaguars, who punted on three consecutive first-half possessions following an opening-drive field goal. Lawrence did lead two long second-half marches that culminated in his touchdown strikes to Davis, but both came with Jacksonville facing a double-digit deficit. Lawrence's interception came in Jaguars territory as well and led to a Chicago touchdown, making it a lackluster real-world performance for the inconsistent 2021 first overall pick. He and the Jaguars will remain overseas for a Week 7 matchup against the Patriots at Wembley Stadium.

Pair of TDs in London loss
Season-best effort in victory
Lawrence completed 28 of 34 passes for 371 yards with two touchdowns and one interception and rushed twice for four yards in the Jaguars' 37-34 win over the Colts on Sunday. Looking for a little magic on his 25th birthday, Lawrence was able to help the Jaguars to their long-awaited first victory by turning in an elite performance. The 2021 first-round pick didn't toss his first touchdown of the afternoon until midway through the second quarter, connecting with star rookie Brian Thomas just past the midway point of the second quarter for an 85-yard catch-and-run score. Lawrence would come back with a four-yard TD toss to Brenton Strange early in the fourth quarter, and he subsequently helmed an eight-play, 39-yard game-winning march during which he recorded completions of nine, 11 and 14 yards. Lawrence did throw his second interception of the campaign at the Colts' two-yard line, but his overall body of work sends him into Jacksonville's annual London trip in Week 6 for a matchup against the Bears with plenty of momentum.
Tosses two TDs in loss
Lawrence completed 18 of 33 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Texans. He also rushed three times for five yards and committed a fumble recovered by Jacksonville. Despite another meager yardage total, Lawrence tossed multiple TDs in a game for the first time this season, hitting rookie Brian Thomas for a two-yard strike in the first quarter and Christian Kirk for an eight-yard score in the third. The latter gave the Jaguars a 20-17 lead, which looked like it might hold up until the team's defense failed to stop C.J. Stroud on the Texans' final drive. Lawrence will try to finish the job and give Jacksonville its first win of 2024 in Week 5 against Indianapolis.
More lackluster numbers in loss
Lawrence completed 21 of 38 passes for 178 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Jaguars' 47-10 loss to the Bills on Monday night. He also rushed twice for three yards. Lawrence and the Jaguars offense as a whole was under duress early, as the Bills already had a 13-0 lead by the end of one that had expanded to a 34-3 advantage by halftime. The 2021 first overall pick could only lead Jacksonville to that one field goal on five first-half possessions, one of which he short-circuited with an interception. Lawrence's best stretch of play came on the opening possession of the second half, when he helmed an eight-play, 70-yard march that he capped with a six-yard touchdown toss to Brenton Strange. The fourth-year signal-caller eventually gave way to Mac Jones midway through the fourth quarter with the game long out of reach, and Lawrence will head into a Week 4 road divisional showdown against the Texans on Sunday having thrown for no more than 220 yards in any of his first three games.
Can't solve Cleveland defense
Lawrence completed 14 of 30 passes for 220 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions in Sunday's 18-13 loss to the Browns. He added two rushes for 45 yards. Lawrence's overall line isn't bad from yards-per-attempt perspective, but he struggled to keep the Jaguars' offense on schedule. He had only 16 yards at halftime, and each of his six passes of 20 or more yards came after the team trailed by two possessions. Lawrence has hit for big plays and displayed mediocre efficiency through two games, but he hasn't sustained a productive offense for the team and has only one touchdown as a result.
Sees second-half downturn Sunday
Lawrence completed 12 of 21 passes for 162 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions while adding one rush for eight yards in the Jaguars' 20-17 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. Lawrence had the Jaguars' offense clicking early, helping lead Jacksonville to 17 first-half points via a trio of impressive drives. He capped the second one of those off with a 14-yard touchdown pass to rookie Brian Thomas, but he was a different quarterback in the second half. The Dolphins defense turned up the heat and made Lawrence uncomfortable, particularly in the fourth quarter when the Jaguars were badly in need of some points to fend off Miami's ultimately successful rally. He displayed the most chemistry with his two new pass catchers -- Thomas and Gabe Davis -- who combined for seven receptions, 109 yards and a touchdown -- while only finding the incumbent duo of Christian Kirk and Evan Engram on two of eight passes. Lawrence and the Jaguars will look to regroup ahead of a Week 2 home matchup against the Browns next Sunday.
Sharp in rehearsal
Lawrence completed eight of 10 passes for 92 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in Friday's 31-0 preseason win over the Falcons. Lawrence played two drives and capped each with a touchdown pass to Evan Engram. With Christian Kirk (calf) sidelined, Lawrence also had the chance to connect with rookie Brian Thomas for a long 38-yard gain as well as with Parker Washington. Though the true test will come in Week 1 against Miami, Lawrence was in command of the offense and accomplished everything that could have been asked of him Friday night.
Scheduled to play this week
Coach Doug Pederson suggested Monday that Lawrence and other starters will play "maybe two quarters" in Friday's preseason game at Atlanta, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. Lawrence played one drive in the preseason opener at Kansas City and none in Saturday's exhibition win over Tampa Bay. It sounds like he'll get a lot more work in the final tune-up before a Week 1 matchup with Miami.
Won't play in preseason Week 2
Lawrence isn't scheduled to play in Saturday's preseason game against Tampa Bay, Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville reports. Mac Jones and C.J. Beathard are expected to each play a half, though coach Doug Pederson didn't specify which QB would go first. Lawrence played in Jacksonville's preseason opener this past Saturday against Kansas City and completed three of four passes for 42 yards and a touchdown on his only drive.
