Xavier Restrepo: Everything you need to know

Restrepo signed a reserve/future contract with the Titans on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Restrepo was not selected by a team during the 2025 NFL Draft, but he opted to follow University of Miami teammate and No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward to the Titans. Restrepo stuck around on the practice squad after failing to crack the 53-man roster at the end of training camp and was elevated to the active roster for Weeks 12 and 13. He caught three passes (on seven targets) for 41 yards over that two-game span and demonstrated that collegiate chemistry with Ward, but the former was carted off the field during the Titans' Week 13 loss to the Jaguars due to an ankle injury. Restrepo will have a whole offseason to develop his skillset and figures to be a dark horse candidate to make the Titans' 53-man roster for the 2026 season.

Restrepo (ankle) will practice Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. The rookie wideout from Miami was carted off the field in the Week 13 loss to the Jaguars due to an ankle injury, but it now appears he's moved past the issue. Although Restrepo remains on Tennessee's practice squad, he could be elevated to the active roster to ensure depth at wide receiver for Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs.

Restrepo (ankle) reverted to the Titans' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Restrepo was elevated to the Titans' active roster for a second consecutive week, and he played 11 of 59 offensive snaps during Tennessee's 25-3 loss to Jacksonville on Sunday. He finished the game with a 15-yard catch late in the fourth quarter, but he suffered an ankle injury during that play that was severe enough for him to be carted off the field. The undrafted rookie out of Miami showed promise in his two regular-season appearances with the Titans, but his ankle injury puts him in jeopardy of missing the rest of 2025.
