Rachel Bush is a model, who has amassed a huge following on social media. Her boyfriend also has his fair share of fans as he’s a defensive back for the Cleveland Browns.

The two have been in the news recently alongside another Cleveland athlete — Cavs star LeBron James.

LeBron allegedly sent Bush a direct message on Instagram causing a bit of a stir on the internet.

1. Bush Is Model With 224K Followers on Instagram

Bush has become somewhat of a favorite on social media. She has 224,000 followers on Instragram and another 125K on Twitter. The model is not camera shy, often posting bikini pictures on the beach and selfies in the mirror.

She grew up in upstate New York and attended Newcomb Central School. It is roughly 100 miles south of the Canadian border.

Rachel was a semifinalist in the 2014 Miss New York pageant and told the Post-Star at the time:

2. Poyer Is Coming Off His Most Productive NFL Season

Poyer has been in the NFL since 2013, when the Philadelphia Eagles made him one of their 7th round picks. He was waived by the Eagles on October 19 during his rookie season and signed with the Browns two days later.

He made 18 tackles in 9 games that season. In 16 games in 2014, Poyer had 21 tackles — 15 solo — and forced a fumble.

Poyer, 24, had the best season of his young career in 2015-16, totaling 43 tackles — 28 solo — to go along with two inteceptions, a sack and a fumble recovery.



3. LeBron James Allegedly Sent Bush a Direct Message on Instagram

Here’s why Bush and Poyer have been in the news recently:

Supposedly LeBron James of the Cavaliers recently sent a direct message (DM) to Bush over Instagram.

According to a Tweet by Bush that has since been deleted, the message from “KINGJAMES” read “Hey whats up!” Bush posted it with the caption “Haha Wut.”

Bush was in attendance of the Hawks-Cavs game in Cleveland on Monday, April 11. The picture above is from her Instagram account. It was captioned “with bae” or “before anyone else.” While he isn’t pictured, perhaps Bush is referring to Poyer. The two have been linked as a couple since late 2015.

As for the game itself, LeBron was a monster, scoring 34 points, grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing out 6 assists in the 109-94 win.



4. Bush Is a Student at Florida Atlantic

Bush apparently has the brains to go along with the beauty.

She finished high school with her associate’s degree and enrolled at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Still only a teenager, Bush hopes to finish up at FAU next year.

While she enjoys modeling, Bush told the Post-Star she would like to get into international sales as a career.

According to one of her Instagram posts, Bush received an honor from The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.



5. Poyer Was an All-American at Oregon State

Poyer is from Astoria, Oregon, and attended Oregon State beginning in 2009.

The cornerback was a consensus All-American and was named First-Team All-Pac 12 after the 2012-13 season.

His senior year, Poyer finished with 51 tackles and 7 interceptions.

Coming out of high school, he was also selected in the 42nd round of the MLB Draft by the Marlins.
