Conflicting reports from some Atlanta Braves reports, but manager Walt Weiss spoke with media on Tuesday, and he’s the final verdict.
After a report surfaced this morning that Spencer Strider needed some more time before he’s to make his season debut, Weiss told reporters, like Mark Bowman and Alison Mastrangelo, that he will start when it’s time for him to pitch according to his schedule. His oblique is good to go, and he will no longer be on the Braves farm. It’s big news before the Braves play the Detroit Tigers in a three-game set on Tuesday.

The next time Spencer Strider takes the ball for a professional baseball game, it will be with the Atlanta Braves.
Alison Mastrangelo wrote (on April 28): “Spencer Striders rehab starts are over. His next start will be with the Braves.
